Barbie Doll Party
How to have a classic Barbie doll party
Barbie just celebrated her 50th birthday, yet she doesn't look a day over twenty! Want
to celebrate with her? Then have a backyard "Barbie-cue" for your little doll. Get out
your shades, put on your lipstick and accessories and get ready for a retro cool Barbie
Doll bash by the pool or penthouse. Here's how to throw a classic Barbie doll party:
- Send her to Barbie Beauty school: She'll love getting all dolled up with her friends
when you give her a spa like treatment. Paint fingernails and get out the Barbie
makeup kit to treat her like a celebrity. Be sure to see our spa party ideas. The
final touch is a pair of Barbie glitter glasses, left. These also serve as a party
favor, which is even more perfect if your Barbie party is a pool party.
- Barbie birthday cake ideas:
- Wilton's doll mold kit, right, will help you make create a delicious display
that looks like a Barbie doll. The kit contains pan, rod stand, 7-inch doll pick
and instructions and will work nicely for a princess party, too.
- Created in 2004, Wilton's Mattel licensed "Barbie Celebration with Flowers
Cake Pan" (2105-8934) is retired collectible, but you may still be able to
find it on Amazon, left, or eBay. While this pan has been discontinued, you'll
still find the directions on how to use the Barbie cake pan.
- Starting with the retro inspired Barbie party napkins, left, and party plates, right,
you can have a party that combines her passion with fashion and love of the
classic Barbie doll.
