A highlight of your party for your the kids will be the party favors. Goody bag trinkets
are a cheap thrill, but keep in mind, you'll get more bang for your buck if you provide
one quality toy, cookie, inflatable or favor instead of a bag of junk. Do yourself a favor
and check out these kids party favor ideas:

Balloons and inflatables as favors. Balloons or inflatable toys serve double duty at
your party as they are decorations that your guests will also appreciate as
favors. You'll find inflatable horses, swords, and more, above. Here are some tips
on balloons and inflatables:

Buy extra inflatables in case kids poke and deflate them. Extras are also
handy to give siblings
If you have guests under three years of age, stick to mylar balloons, as
the latex variety poses a choking hazard.
Search Amazon for "super shapes," which are balloons you can inflate
yourself with a helium tank or have your local super market fill.
When you hire balloon twisting entertainer or face painter, make sure to
ask how long it will take to complete balloons for the number of kids
you've invited.

Make giving the favor an activity in itself. You can have a puppy plush adoption
complete with a certificate, you can have a group treasure hunt for a treasure
box filled with goodie bags for each guest, or you can read a story and give a
related gift. For example, with a monkey theme party, read "Caps For Sale," left.

the inside of the hat with your guest's name, so kids don't share. Make it a
rule never to share hats. You don't want the little buggers to come home
with bugs. Also, hats with strings pose choking threat, so don't allow kids
to wear hats or necklaces at your party around swing sets, jungle gyms or
other playground equipment.
