Princess Carriage for a Pony Party
Classic horse and carriage birthday cakes, favors and ideas
There's more than one way to have a princess party. You can have an enchanted
birthday filled with fairy tale dreams and magical ponies. Here's how to have a classic
princess party with horse and carriage birthday cakes, favors and ideas for a birthday
that even Cinderella would approve:
- Treat her like Cinderella with a horse and carriage cake. Wilton is like your Fairy
Godmother helping you create birthday cake for your princess who adores
horses. For a larger party you can pair this cake pan with the Wilton Rocking
Horse cake pan. It's retired but still available on Amazon or eBay. Just cut out
the rocker portion of the horse and frost with the carriage. Or try the Princess
Carriage Cake from Family Fun. More royal birthday cake ideas...
Send guests home in their own carriage. You'll make a favorable impression with the
enchanted carriage favor boxes, available above. They look like little Cinderella
carriages.
- Give your little princess center stage with the Beistle Princess Photo Prop. Just affix
her picture to the photo prop so that she's looking out the window.
Alternatively, capture the smile of every little princess at the party. Cut a whole
in the carriage window and mounting on a tri-fold project board. Then send
party goers the pictures with a royal thank you card. It's available on Amazon.
- Make lunch fit for a princess. The adorable princess meal box, pictured right, is
available only in Australia and the United Kingdom, but you can craft your own
carriage.
- Fairy tales do come true! Get inspiration for your child's party from enchanted
wedding favors, because even grown ups want a fairy tale party. The Fairy
tales Carriage Place Card holder will keep memories forever. You'll find plenty of
horse and carriage toys available, such as the musical Barbie Diamond Castle
Horse and Carriage, which sparkles (pictured left).
Princess Party Activities:
- Pink Pony Riding: the "mane" event! What a fun idea, the folks in Waxahachie,
Texas colored the manes of their miniature ponies in pretty shades of hot pink
and blue for their "One of a kind Pony Party". Most pony party locations don't
offer such a service, but you can certainly ask.
- Take the kids on a princess carriage ride. You'll find Princess Carriage rides
primarily in tourist areas, but you can also check local wedding directories. This
will be an unforgettable experience for your little princess and a few of her
closest friends.
- Watch Cinderella on her new Cinderella Coach television. Okay, this is a Disney
licensed item, but oh, so adorable andl would make an impressive slumber
party enchanted evening.
